Group settings and permissions

You can adjust your group settings on a granular level, including choosing to make your group Private (by invitation only); Open (anyone can join); or Selective (members must apply and be approved to join).

You can also customize permissions for you group members by selecting their status as:

• Contributor - can post + comment/chat + invite others
• Limited - can post with approval + comment/chat + invite others
• Viewer - can comment chat + invite others

You can customize these permissions and also adjust other permissions, such as whether or not you allow members to download photos in your group.

Here's how to manage your group settings and permissions:

1. Tap  Communities

2. Select a group you are an admin/owner of

3. Tap 

4. Select Group Settings 

5. Select Group Permissions or Member Permissions depending on what you'd like to adjust
