When creating a post, you can add tags by clicking the “#” button, or typing “#” before a word or term you wish to tag. This creates a clickable tag you can use to categorize your posts. For example, you can add the tag #hiking on various posts about hiking or trails, and then anytime you search that tag, all of your posts that include it will pop up.

When you click the “#” button when creating a post, all of the tags you’ve used before will appear in the tag box, so you can easily choose to reuse tags from there, or create new ones. You can search tags in Smart Search to easily find open posts and content that also includes that tag.

Tags are also used by groups and pages to categorize posts to make it easy to find content
about specific topics.

Here's how to use tags:

1. When creating a post, add a hashtag (#) before the word or combination of words you'd like to tag

2. You can also select the # on the right side of your post box in order to bring up all the tags you have used in the past
