Groups are communities where MeWe members can communicate and share about a topic. MeWe has thousands of open groups you can browse in the Group Directory.
Group types include:
- Private - By invitation only
- Open - Anyone can join. The group has a link and QR code to share

Selective - Owner or admin approval is required to join. People can request to join. The group
has a link and QR code to share
Groups are organized by topic, including the featured topics pictured above and many others. Group members can post within groups, and the group owners/admins are also visible when they post.
Groups are packed with tons of great features, including:
- Group chats
- Smart Search to find content within your group that matches your keywords
- Sharing photos, videos, and files within groups
- Group Photostream
- Events within groups (In Open and Selective groups, only the admin/owner can create events. In a Private group, anyone can create events)
- Tags within groups to organize categories of posts
